Contributor - JIT

Description

Update Scilab engine to provide JIT capabilities.

Note that this work must be done in Scilab git branch called YaSp which will be the base of Scilab 6.

It is not the preferred solution (because of the new dependency) but LLVM could be used here. See Contributor - LLVM for more information.

Ideas

• Use LibJIT (seems to be dead)

• Use an other library (have a look on other interpreters). For example, McLab

• Do it yourself
